Equity;Released

Independent advice for later life lending solutions.

If you’re considering releasing equity, or your existing mortgage term is coming to an end, we’ll help you understand your options.

Specialist independent advice for people who want to retire proper.

Equity;Released are specialists in the field of later life lending.  We advise on all mainstream type of later life lending: Equity Release, Retirement Interest Only (RIO) mortgages, and traditional mortgages.  This means whatever the most appropriate solution for you is, we’ll find it.

All our advisers are experienced and hold a specialist Equity Release qualification, so we can give you a clear, fair and unbiased review of your circumstances and recommend the most suitable solution to help you raise the money you need in retirement.

Equity release can affect your estate, so we’ll invite you to involve your family (if you want to) and we’ll discuss in full the pros, cons and risks to any solution before you go ahead.

Equity;Released is part of Mortgage Medics Ltd.  We’re based in Brighton and we’ve been giving advice on mortgages and equity release since 2007.

How it works

1. Review

The first step is to speak to one of our advisers who will explain the process and work with you to understand your personal circumstances and needs for a proper retirement.

2. Advice

We’ll search the whole of the market based on your individual needs and provide you with a report setting out your options, along with our advice and recommendations.

3. Apply

When you’re ready to proceed, we’ll get all the paperwork together and then submit an application to the lender on your behalf.

4. Approve

Once your application is accepted, independent solicitors will work with you to make sure you fully understand the equity release finance arrangement.  We can help you find a solicitor if you don’t have one.

5. Release

On completion your funds are released to your account.  If an existing mortgage is being repaid then the solicitors will take care of this for you.

Here’s what our clients say…

Mortgage Medics made the whole process of achieving an equity release agreement a straight forward procedure. They guided us on the various steps required and listened to us when we had questions and queries, responding in the most professional manner one would expect of such a financial services company.

– Roisin, February 2021

We were very pleased with the advice given with regards to our equity release. Mortgage Medics brought to our attention several ways that we were able to improve on our existing terms. Despite the restrictions imposed during covid, the whole process was completed smoothly, efficiently and quickly.
